Can't comment on the durability as it's only been on the vehicle a couple of weeks, but it was relatively easy to install and works fine. The plastic connector for the ignition cable did crack relatively easily when I let the starter roll over on the floor, but I was still able to make the connector work. Seems to be a decent quality starter for the price.

My wife told me that she read that the starter had a lifetime warranty, she was wrong. I returned the the old starter to get credit for the cord charge clerk would not let me keep the box that the new starter came in. The clerk told me it had a 10 year limit warranty. He said if the starter housing breaks it's not cover at anytime. I'm still waiting for my $25. credit on my next purchase or maybe my school teacher wife misunderstood that part of the advertisement also. It's to early to make any kind of judgement on the starter since I have only used the car a few times after starter was installed. Everything looks and sounds good so far.

The customer service representative told me that I needed a starter for my car. He gave me a great price for it and also took the time to explain how to get a couple extra discounts for the part. It works fine and I'm happy to have my car up and running again!

This was so easy to replace on my 2002 Camry. It was right below the air filter. Took around 30 minutes to remove/replace.

easy drop in part for my '02 camry 4 cylinder. just remove the battery and intake for access. then two bolts and you're done! still working great after 1 month

My 02 Camry failed to start up after 4 intermittent failures in 3 days. Narrowed down to the starter. I decided to replaced it myself because a friend of mine told me that it was not difficult to replace his Accord starter plus the cost to tow my car will be close to the cost of the starter. I follow the instruction to remove the battery and unlock air filter intake compartment box to make room to unscrew the two bolts which hold the starter. It took me an hour and 10 minutes to finish the job. I have no problem starting the car since I replaced the starter two weeks ago.
I really saved about $300 in addition to the tow cost because another friend of mine just had his 02 Camry starter repaired by an auto shop couple days ago.
