I ordered online and picked thr item at the store.
When i went to install it the plastic was cracked and fell off.Upon returning the defective part i was told they showed another but there was none,so i was directed to your colerain store.All i wanted is a exchange as i was lead to belive that it was no problem.They said that i would have to get a refund and repurchase the item,Which
would not be a problem but i did not have my credit card in my coveralls.Two trips later i repurchased the item , which worked well.I was just disapointed. not to mention wasted fuel,time
which could have been spent on other jobs.
Perhaps better communication between stores could prevent this issue from occuring again.

I have very similar problems. My car will turn over really slow at first and now not at all. I bought a new top of the line battery from advanced 3 weeks ago. It will not do anything. It doesnt turn over at all anymore, a friend of mine said to hit the starter and try to start it: that did not work either. Any suggestion? Could it be the starter and the alternator? Tech Tip #199: According to General Motors, some owners have reported weak or discharged batteries; the starter motor may turn over slow, the alternator may not charge, and the malfunction indicator light may be on or come on intermittently.
If you have experienced one or more of these problems and basic diagnostics have not determined a cause, or, everything tested good, check the following.
The alternator output cable goes to starter "B+" and then to the battery positive. According to General Motors the "B+" stud at the starter may be loose, causing high resistance in the battery positive circuit from the alternator to the battery.
Inspect the condition of the starter motor "B+" nut at starter to 106 in. lbs. (12N.m). Recharge and load test battery, replace if needed.Answered on 10/20/2009 by Rob from Advance Auto Parts

If the light go out when you turn the key, I suggest you test your battery again. I know you said that you had it tested, but did you test it after you ran it for awhile? It could be the wiring, but what I suggest is to take it to your nearest Advance Auto Parts store and I believe that they can help you figure it out.
