Had a shop I took my truck to 5 times to fix my car. Batteries were drained. The starter was replaced. Incredibly, no one ever checked or even looked at the mass of wires around my solenoid. I replaced the starter - it was bad - and we had power - but by this time the F250 1988 had had problems for over a year. A little web research later, I ordered this part. Hard to install - because my other one fell apart as soon as I touched it - possibly 25 years old. Had to put everything on just right. Now, for the first time in years, the truck springs to life, I have no battery drains, and it starts right up without even having to get it gas - it never did that. At only about $20, I think one of the best investments you can make.

Replaced this part on my 2003 Mustang GT. Very easy to install and only took about 5 minutes. Word of CAUTION: The contact bolts are a bit shorted than the original factory part. If you have several things connected to this item it may prove difficult. Car cranked right up after part was replaced. Works as advertised.

Bought the product. Installed it, and it wasn't the problem. Problem was a bad starter. Truck has both a starter and a solenoid on the firewall. Put it back in the box, put on the original one. I have a paid for spare now in my tool tower.

Truck would not start @ part store. Bought part & installed it in 30 minutes with store loaner tools. Started up on first turn of the key. I am a woman & not a mechanic, but I know how to remove a part & replace it with a new one. This replacement was very easy. The previous reviews helped me choose this product.

I was informed this would replace Fisher p/n 5794-K that sends power to the motor for the lift cylinder. Where does each wire belong ? It's a little different & I didn't label which terminal they belong to. Thanks
