On your tranny there is a cable that runs from there to your firewall, it should be in the back if you can see your axle from the top you should be able to see your speedometer. Its right next to it.Answered on 10/28/2011 by John the Car-Doc from AAP

It seems your 1991 dodge spirit had changed over to a sensor from cable. If it had a cable, it would be very easy to find. It would go from the transmission housing all the way through the firewall into the instrument cluster.Answered on 8/28/2011 by Vincent from AAP
