      All I wanted this shovel to do was to stay non-collapsed as I shoveled out the show around my tires. The thing kept on collapsing. Also, its so short that I was bending over even though I'm only 5 feet tall. Ugh. Pass on this one.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              What is the shovel blade and handle made of?

              • A:

                The blade is made of plastic, the handle tubing is metal. The actual handle part is plastic again. The tightening mechanism is also plastic, so you have to be careful not to overtighten and break it. Happened to me.
