Comments about WD-40 Smart Straw 12 oz. Aerosol:

I use this stuff on everything from tar removal/ sticker removal to electronics / sensors on cars and it works great . I have had power tools get wet and not work, I drown them in this stuff and they come back to life . Before you through something away that isn't working try spaying it down with wd40 it really works .

WD40 used on my car door locks and also used on hinges inside doors and front hood, rear trunk. Keeps parts lubricated and cleaned. Keeps locks from freezing up in cold weather.

Comments about WD-40 Smart Straw 12 oz. Aerosol:

WD-40 is a great product. This new straw though seems to be poor quality in the area that lets the straw swivel up into place. The one I had snapped out of place, bending the 4 flimsy pieces of plastic. I had to disassemble the top of the can, pry the bits back into shape, replace it on the can, pry the 4 bits back into shape again, all while getting my hands and the floor covered in WD-40. I'd rather just get a few extra straws and have the old reliable can.

I had to widen the hole in the straw bit that makes it able to spray/stream through, because it was not working- it'd just spray into the back of the straw, nothing was coming out.

If it weren't for the fact I'll never use a whole can- I'll lose it, or it'll just get too old to spray- I'd return it. But, it's working now, I'm just more aware of how poorly it's made, so next time I will double check to be sure it's working when I leave the store.

                    • Q:

Lately when I've been placing my key in the iginition it has a hard time turning. I've done the whole lock/move steering wheel and other tricks, but typically if I just keep inserting it and turning it,eventually it works....after about 5-10min of trying! Someone mentioned to me that I might want to try using graphite spray. Shoud I try that, or what about WD40?
