Comments about Denso SK16R11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug:
Denso is the OEM manufacturer for TOYOTA / LEXUS /SCION. These ones are identical to the ones that come in the 2nd generation Prius (2004-2009). If you plan on replacing at the recommended intervals of 100k miles these are perfect. They are a bargain here compared to what the dealer charges for the exact same plug. If you are replacing with the platinums or double platinums to save a few dollars now you will need to change around 30-40k they don't hold up as well with the hybrid engine shutting on and off. Don't forget the dielectric grease for the boots and more importantly the anti sieze grease for the threads.

Comments about Denso SK16R11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug:
My 2005 Corolla LE really operates beyond superb! These are the best spark plugs for the 1ZZ-FE engine. Changed these around 42,000 miles, had gone almost eight years with the original ones when the car was built in '04 as an '05 model. I would change the spark plugs after a certain amount of time passes, regardless of mileage. Pre-gapped and ready to go with these 4 babies! Enjoy your Corollas'.

Comments about Denso SK16R11 Iridium Long Life Spark Plug:
Replaced the original plugs as preventive maintenance on a 2004 Corolla with 115K miles. The original plugs were running fine and had a near-perfect burn pattern, so there was no change in performance. The plugs were gapped correctly (0.043") out of the box - a nice touch. The old plugs had to be removed by carefully working them back-and-forth since they were in there for 8 years and this IS an aluminum head - but they extracted with no damage - a good testament to Denso's plating on the threads. I used anti-seize compound on the threads of the replacement plugs to eliminate future extraction problems. If you do this, use only a light coating applied with a Q-tip to control the coverage. Do NOT get any compound on the insulator or electrodes, since it is graphite-based and conductive. If you do, clean thoroughly with a strong low-residue solvent, such as acetone, 91% alcohol, or disk brake cleaner. As a side note on this engine, the coil-over-plug assembly is a tight clearance next to the wiring harness on the cam cover. If it cannot be removed with a firm upward pull, do not try to pry it up or you will crack the coil assembly. Instead use a screwdriver to pry the rear wiring harness cover back since the sharp edge of the coil assembly is caught on the plastic harness cover.

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR MY 2004 PONTIAC VIBE. THE ENGINE HAD 90000 MILES ON IT SO IT WAS TIME TO REPLACE THE SPARK PLUGS.THESE PLUGS ARE EXACT SAME ONES THAT CAME FROM THE FACTORY.WHEN I TOOK OUT THE OLD PLUGS THEY HAD VERY LITTLE WEAR IN THEM.I REALIZED THAT THESE PLUGS REALLY DO LAST A LONG TIME.THEY COST ALOT MORE THAN OTHER PLUGS BUT ARE WELL WORTH IT IN THE LONG RUN BECAUSE THEY LAST SO LONG.THE NEW PLUGS WERE PREGAP SO THEY WERE READY TO INSTALL.WHEN INSTALLING THE NEW PLUGS BE SURE TO PUT ANTISEIZE ON THE THREADS TO MAKE SURE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO REMOVE THEM THE NEXT TIME THEY NEDD REPLACING.REALLY GREAT PLUG
