These are the brightest bulbs I have found that don't have the annoying blue tint. However, I only got 18 months of life out of the ones I installed last year and my wife is still on her OEM bulbs after 4 years.

They are difficult to install, but that is an issue with the vehicle (Chevy Equinox), not the bulbs.

I will never make this mistake again.
I also did not get the discount coupon I was supposed to get with my purchase. What happened to that?

Comments about Sylvania SilverStar ULTRA TWIN Halogen Headlight:

I did not tell my wife I bought the better lights so I could see if she noticed the difference...she did not.
I put them in my wife's car and she said the only difference is that one of the old ones was burned out and the both of the new ones work.

I am really dissapointed in the amount of money I paid for these lights and they did NOTHING better than the ones we had.

I would not recommend spending the money, and I won't do it again!

Bought online and picked up at neighborhood store to save $$. My wife couldn't believe improvement in her 97 Lincoln Continental. She drives dark windy roads and had been using high beams a lot. These new lights on low actually illuminate the road better than the provious on high. I hope we get more than year's use out of them.

Excellent improvement over original OEM headlights. Howevere, they only seem to last 2 to 3 years before they fail. Still worth the price for the improved safety and visibility especially during deer season.

I purchased this set of bulbs today and installed them in a 2000 Chevy Cavalier. Being that it was my first time changing headlights in this car I was unsure as of how to orient the bulb in the assembly. Should the blue harness clip (the part that must be pried up with a screw driver) be facing up or to the side? Thanks!

No, these are for the dual beam headlamps, which have both the low and high beam combined into one bulb. Depending on which "sub-model" (LX, LXi or base) would help you determine which bulbs you would need.
