    Is this powerful enough to use for in a vacuum chamber. To suck the air out so liquids will penetrate wood? I am a woodwork and am looking for a vacuum pump to stabilize wood.

This pump has Pump Displacement : 1 in 3 (16cc) per stroke and Max. Vacuum : 25 in Hg (85kPa).
