This is a low wattage light so does NOT project very far. If you want close up lighting, it should work fine. These are the bluish LEDs, not the best for humans to see by.
I bought these to use as 12V emergency lighting and they work fine for that purpose.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THESE LIGHTS, I HAD THEM ON MY TRUCK FOR LESS THAN A MONTH AND ONE OF THE BRACKETS BROKE COMPLETELEY OFF. THIS WAS NOT A GIFT.

These lights are great for a show accessory. As the other reviewers said, these lights are horrible for driving. Perhaps that is why on the box it says off road use only. I put them on my daughters power wheels and they fit right on and light up the way for her at night

This product is for beauty/enhancement only. It has little to no light output for driving. It only helped enhance my HID headlight.
