Comments about Shell Rotella® T 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil:
I have used this oil for many years in tractors and my diesel pickups. As I have now sold all diesel pickups due to high fuel prices. I still buy and use this oil in my older gasoline powered pickups due to this oils higher content of additives needed in these older engines. The combined age of these three vehicles is 120 years!

I use this oil for my '89 Jeep Wrangler YJ with a 258 6cyl. This oil is great for older engines. The newer oils are for the engines put in newer autos and trucks, but this oil works great in the older autos and trucks, both on and off road.

The oil is perfect and have had no problems with it for years. The only bad thing is the price of oil has gotten so out of hand.

Comments about Shell Rotella® T 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil:
Great oil for standard oil changes. Works well with my F-250 Super Duty Twin Turbo Diesel. Better than the cheap stuff, and like that I don't have to buy 500 stupid little bottles, or the giant barrel so I can get it in the truck easily, without a funnel or a mess.

would this oil be a great alternative for my 1992 jeep cherokee with high mileage2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, this oil can be used as a great alternative for your vehicle.A:
I would not recommend 15w-40 motor oil for every day driving on gasoline engines as it too thick and it might not lubricate your engine fast enough causing engine damage faster. I would recommend 10w-40 for higher mileage engines. And if you see some smoke coming out or if your engine getting louder as you go, use 1 quart of "LUCAS OIL TREATMENT". This will help your engine least longer work smoother. Good Luck!Q:
can i use this in a motorcycle? thanks2 answers
A:
This oil is used by many motorcycle owners. It has Jaso Ma rating on back of jug which is for wet clutch.CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I would stick with oil that is meant for motorcycles.
