I have gone through 3 faulty reman master cylinders. Upon bleeding brakes the master cylinder still sucks in air through the rear line seal. Very frustrating.

So after taking two of these back I paid the difference between this and part number 13-2352. Trust me cut to the chase and buy 13-2352 now. The difference even before I bled the system was night and day. I have never before came across a part that was just plain trash but this one is just that. They should even bother stocking it.

I installed this in a 95 K1500 pickup along with the rest of the braking system since it was all on its way out. I am just over 60 miles since install and the seals failed worse than the one it replaced. I will try the replacement but am not optimistic. I've never had one fail so quickly that wasn't dead on arrival.

I installed one of these in my truck just under 60 miles ago and today it went bad and started leaking out the back. I can't say that I have ever been so unfortunate as to have one go this fast. You get what you pay for I suppose. I will be returning it shortly and unless I wise up and pay for a better one will try again. It's not too late for you to make the right choice.

I do have a soft pedal after installing this master cylinder but have not determined if it is still air in the system or the cylinder itself. Remember, if you change the master cylinder the ABS pump will need to be activated in order to push trapped air out of the unit. Otherwise it will create a soft pedal.

Its most likely swollen seals in the master cylinder blocking the relief port. This is normally caused by mineral oil in the brake fluid, look for a swollen gasket on the cap. If this is the case, you will need to flush the brake system with brake cleaner and lots of new fluid to prevent further problems.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
