Comments about BWD Relay:
I installed it which seem to work but when it got cold didn't. I took to a mechanic after a couple of days of hard starting and shot starter. He tested it and found it worked part time, and replaced with a Motorcraft which works great. he says the BWD is like a starter relay and could of burned out my ECN.

Comments about BWD Relay:
Don't use the website to price check. The price will be higher in store (by like $40). To get the price listed here, you will have to purchase online and use the site to store option. Lesson learned.
My original GP relay finally gave up the ghost in late April of '12, after 10 years of service. I replaced it with this unit. It went in fine and solved my cold start issue, but made a high pitch whine. It died in early January of '13 after just over 8 months of service. The majority of that time being the warmest months of the year.
I went in and was told I could either buy another and they would refund my money when I brought in the old one, or I could pull the old and bring it in for an exchange. I went the latter route. I was also told that if the next one failed, they wouldn't replace it. "The odds of getting two bad ones is about one in a million," according to the person at the counter. Ummm...OK. Not from what I've seen, but let's hope I'm not THE one.
I was impressed that when I returned the next day they had a new one pulled from stock and waiting for me. Good job! It was gladly exchanged. I installed it with no problem, and it is working fine. The new one is almost silent, so hopefully doesn't fail as quickly as the last.
Based on the experience with the first, this is a one star unit at best. I'm only giving it two due to the fact that it was exchanged with minimal hassle.

Took me a couple years to get around to changing this for whatever reason. This solved my cold starting issue, and took minutes to install.

Comments about BWD Relay:
I checked the web site and paid more for the product because it showed "Made in USA" but had made in [*]on the box. Bolt holes didn't line up, had to make it fit. Cost about 3 times as much as similar ones found on line. Also checked at the store and it was $20 more than the web price. Making a profit is fine, but getting them from [*]and then charging more isn't right. This product was necessary to start my truck and I had to get a part quick or would have just ordered one off of [@] for less than a third of the price.

Comments about BWD Relay:
Install was straight forward, just swapped out old relay for new and good to go. Time will tell about quality looks and feels exactly like my oem one I swapped out about all I can say is old relay no longer worked, replacement now gets power to my glow plugs. Not much more to it.
