My wipers in my 2000 Ford Taurus had stopped working, after a wiper motor replace and a multi-switch replace, they still didn't work. I Googled for help and was lead to check the relays. Tapping on the old ones, my wipers worked. So I bought the two that control the motor and speed and my wipers work again!

                          • CUSTOMER CARE

                            A:

With reference to your inquiry on BWD Relay - Part No. R3146, a slipping transmission may be a result of a minor issue like sensor to major issue of transmission rebuild or replacement. A slipping transmission can destroy itself in short order. Transmission slip usually due to either inadequate pressures to lock up the friction material, or because the friction material has become "glazed". I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
