    Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:

The Ready Rad for my 98 Dodge Ram fit pretty well. I wouldn't call it an exact fit,but a pretty darn close fit. My one hard transmission cooler line didn't fit back in where it was supposed to but its not going anywhere and it doesn't leak. and I had to tweak the rad a little to get the mounting bolts to line up but it did fit and works well. my old rad was leaking but I'm good now. Overall it was pretty easy and I'm very happy with the job I did. I would recommend this product to other Dodge owners!!!

      Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:

Easy to install. You need a tool to disengage the QD if you are using the transmission cooler. I had one from a kit that I purchased for previous airconditioner work. It would be nice to include one with the hardware. It wouldn't add much if anything to the cost.

      Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:

This was a great bargain especially with the online discount and easy pick-up at the store, which just happens to be real close. The cost of a repair was almost as much as a new radiator and with the lifetime warranty it was a no brainer. It dropped right in & everything fit just like it was supposed to.

                Comments about Ready-Rad Radiator:

I found this Radiator to be a very good low cost replacement for my oem Radiator which had split a seam and was leaking. Originaly I was planning on heading out to the "U-Pick-it" junk yard but when I found Advanced Auto had brand new units priced as cheap as they are I dropped the junk yard idea and went with Advanced Auto. Had I gone with a used out of the junk yard route I would have had to deal with draining old antifreeze, unbolting and removing the used Radiator (with no guarantee that it's even any good) Trust me just go with Advanced Auto and be done with it.

Leaking Transmission line on the fitting to the radiator side that came with the radiator... :( I've seen your comment about using an o ring or tape. I didn't get an O ring with the install kit in the box. Was one (or two) O rings supposed to be in there for the transmission fittings? I just used teflon tape tonight and will see if it still leaks when I drive the truck tomorrow. Also, there were no install instructions came with mine to point this potential problem out.

These kind of fittings are of kind that expand, they further screw in. Try tightening with the O ring as long as they are tight enough. If this did not work then go for a thread tape or sealant.
