      Comments about Stant Radiator Cap:

I was amazed to learn that a radiator cap could cause an engine to overheat without letting any antifreeze/fluids from radiator. My car had been rebuilt with a new engine and turbo but was never the same until a few weeks ago when a mechanic told me to change the radiator cap and see if that worked. I had several mechanics look at my car but none could figure out why it was overheating while at a stand still or in town during hot weather, it hasn't done it since I put the new cap on, LOL, crazy!!!!!!

        Comments about Stant Radiator Cap:

I used this to replace an OEM cap. The quality of the Stant replacement seemed similar and on par with what I took off. It has been on the car a few months and I have not had any trouble at all.

          Comments about Stant Radiator Cap:

Fits good, make sure you order the correct one, my car doesn't have the Toyo radiator so I initially ordered the wrong one. AAP exchanged it with no problem.

I Purchased this part but the cap in the box does not look like the picture. It is plain and there is no sticker or similar markings. The cap pictured says made in USA. Mine is stamped mexico on the top. I have no assurance this is the same part that I payed for.

            • Q:

Just bought a radiator for a 2005 Hyundai Elantra yesterday. The stock cap will not fit properly back into the radiator. The stant lever lock cap does not fit properly back into the radiator. Basically when you press the cap in and it locks in place with normal caps, the stock and the stant do not do that, you can just turn them right back off it looks and feels like they dont properly seal. It is a brand new radiator from advance down here. ANy guidance as to a cap that will fit would be greatly appreciated, I really do not want to pull this radiator back out because of an issue with a cap. Thank you.

Vista-Pro makes Ready-Rad Radiators. If you would call 888-250-2676 and inform them the part number of your radiator they should be able to inform you which radiator cap fits.
