    What color does it glow under UV and what color is the dye. I want to color Zerex G-05 so I can see it.

      This Interdynamics Radiator and Cooling System UV Dye (1 oz.) (Part No. 375CS) is an Engine Coolant UV Dye. Single application of radiator / engine cooling system UV leak detection dye. Safe for use in all vehicle makes and models (except 1996 and newer GM models that use DEX-COOL® coolant) and it is compatible with all types of anti-freeze except GM DEX-COOL coolant.     It says that you can not use this product for Dex coolent. Why not? Is there another leak detector that would work?

      A:

      The most likely reason that you can not mix this with Dex-Cool coolant is because the additives in it do not mix well with Dex-Cool and can either cause corrosion or clogging. I do not see one listed online, but if you have a Advance Auto Parts store near you, you might find one there.

      Yes, there is another product specifically for Dexcool systems. Alter your search and include Dexcool.
