Comments about Valvoline Racing Conventional 20W-50 Motor Oil:
This motor oil is definitely a must have if your running a motor with a flat tappet cam, with the high ZDDP contents its perfect to protect the cam and lifters. I have a 350 sbc with moderate mods in my 79 caprice sport coupe. I use this oil with a bottle of ZDDPlus from Eastwood just to be safe. Motor oils of today dont protect old motors or new motors with the flat tappet design. This is a must have, if you dont want premature cam failure!!

Comments about Valvoline Racing Conventional 20W-50 Motor Oil:
I use this oil in my 94' turbo honda accord that I built list year. It has been the best oil I have found to run in my car and it's priced right too. All I know is that I will be using it forever in my car.

For any further assistance please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto store and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.Q:
why can't this product be used in motorcycle App.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This Valvoline Racing Conventional 20W-50 Motor Oil - part# VV211 is designed for automotive applications and cannot be used for motorcycles as the oil designed for motorcycles has a higher "shear tolerance"...(clings to spinning gears and keeps a coating on meshing gears). And has viscosity stabilizers, and additives to accept and disperse heat much more efficiently than automotive oil.Q:
Hi what does the 20wt-50 mean1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
There are 11 viscosity grades 0W, 5W, 10W, 15W, 20W, 25W, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 and the letter 'W' refers to the Winter-grades and given a W designation in motor oils.Q:
What is the ZZDP content?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil contains 75% higher zinc than SM motor oil with a balanced additive package designed to work in both racing and street-legal applications. This product will protect older style push-rod and flat tappet engines. Valvoline uses an advanced zinc/phosphorus additive that keeps higher levels of phosphorus in the motor oil where it protects the engine instead of poisoning the catalytic converter.Q:
does this oil come in a 10-40 wt ??? or something lighter than 50wt1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Valvoline does make this oil in different weights that 20W-50 but I do not see them listed online. You may have to go into one of our stores to find the oil in the weight you are looking for.
