My '05 mercedes must had a slow leek as I needed to put a can in once a year.
Put this stuff in a week ago, system is now nice and cold.
If the sealer part works I guess it will take a year to find out but it did not gum up my system as of yet.

Comments about Interdynamics R-134a Refrigerant with Leak Sealer - 12 oz.:
Please avoid Leak Sealer. Leak Sealer will work BUT it can cause more damage than fix them. Ask any certified mechanic and leak sealer is not RECOMMENDED in A/C systems. It can clog up components such as orifice tubes and that will cause lines to blow or overheat at certain points. Using regular refrigerant is perfectly fine, just stay away from Leak Sealer. If this Leak Sealer circulates through the system and your system breaks down, you will find yourself replacing the entire system which is really expensive.

I have a 1995 Grand-am,there is a small leak in it some where I am mechanically inclined I have recharged this system several times(3) to be exact every time I recharge I am adding oil from the cans that I get,my qustion to you is when the freon leaks out dose the oil go with it or and I'm thinking that it stays in the system, and if it stays in the system how do I get out. I know what your going to say "bring it to your dealer" and have him evacuate the system right? Thanks1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You need to always replace the drier accum. when the system loses its charge and is exposed to air. There is no way to economically determine how much oil was left in the system. You will need to flush all the oil left in the system, then add the required amount. It would be handy to have a oil res. and sight glass on the compressor but it just isn't that way. If there is excess oil it really won't hurt the cooling performance, it will just increase the chance of an oily 'slug' taking out the compressor. However, It is advised that a Section 609 of EPA Standards mechanic be the only one to perform anything with that type of system r12 as well as r134a due to its effects on the environment. I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified A/C mechanic for a proper diagnosis.Q:

This Interdynamics R-134a Refrigerant with Leak Sealer - 12 oz. with Part No. RLS-134/LFXR-13 will not cause any damage to a vehicle. However these sealants works best on small hose leaks and helps less on big leaks. Also using sealer may void AC auto parts remanufacturer warranty. For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.Q:

if the air is not as cold do I assume that I have a leak1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Lack of air flow across the condenser. Make sure the electric cooling fan motor near the condenser is coming on, or in models that are equipped with a fan blade make sure this fan is turning and is turning very fast. Low Freon levels. Freon level and pressure should be checked by your certified air conditioning mechanic. Overheating. If the engine is running hot or overheating, it can have a noticeable negative affect on the air conditioning system.Q:
Which freon goes in a 2001 6 cylinder Cherokee Sport?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE

Never use any type of refrigerant other than R134 A. Vehicle air conditioners made after 1995 are designed only for use with this type of Freon.Q:
I have a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8Liter Motor ac doesn't have any air and no antifreeze in it I think I have A leak how many cans will I need and will it seal the leak1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes it seals the leak and if your system R134a is low then you should need about two cans max to fill it up. But I would recommend using the indicator gauge to make sure you do not over fill it. If you over fill it then it may cause more problems.Q:
