Finally replaced the old OEM plugs that were installed several years ago, though I've only clocked about 35K miles in 6 years. The truck is a '99 S-10, 4 cylinder automatic, daily driver with 118K on the clock and it had been unusually anemic accelerating for awhile. I bought the Denso Platinums as most reviews were positive and the price was right.
I put them in and started it up: WOW, engine's running smoooooooth, quiet, I can hardly notice the drag when the A/C turned on. Now, this is a daily driver, not driven hard since this engine/trans is pretty pedestrian and even moreso with the A/C on, but the Densos have amazed me with the improved performance. Fuel mileage appears to be up too but I need a few more tankfuls before I can quantify this.
Great product, IMO.

Comments about Denso PT16TT Platinum TT Spark Plug:
Replaced current plugs and fuel economy in my Mercury Sable went from 24-25 to 29-30. The old plugs were not that old and worked fine just the efficiency went down after installing them. They were Bosch Fusion +4 and these are way better. Durability has yet to be determined though.

I put a set of these in my father-in-law's S-10 pickup with a 4.3L V6. The truck had 135K miles on the original plugs. These plugs looked good and worked fine. Good price for a twin platinum plug.

Went to pick up these "exact fit" plugs from the local store. First, the store hours online are different from actual stores! After i picked them up the next day and started to install them. I noticed they gave me 2 different sizes!!! ALL employees and the advance auto stores in fremont ohio are IDIOTS!

DOES THIS PLUG CARRY A 100,000 MILE WARRANTY?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Usually, you should check on your car spark plugs after the 25.000 kilometers or around such date since they can stop functioning at any time since then. Sometimes they last as much as 100.000 kilometers, but you should make sure they are ok before that or they could start failing when you need them the most.
