I would use this product again.

When my Mechanic friend said my symptoms sounded like the window regulator needs replacing, I had no clue what he was talking about. After researching it online, I found the one I purchased here for a $40 savings over the dealer price. The responses from other customers were all positive and made the replacement sound possible by me. The product was as good or better than OEM and replacement went as planned. You will need to have some knowledge of door panel removal and some mechanical skills to do this replacement. Some of the blogs had helpful hints.

The purchase of this product was quite a bit more difficult than one would think. First of all, we ordered it on line and received a discount. Nice? Well it would've been nicer if the on line description had specified drivers' side or passenger side which we did not catch until it was over half way installed. Then we took it to the store to exchange it. Fine? Would've been if the store matched their own on line prices, which they don't, so we had to pay 15% more at the store for the correct unit. Oh, and wait a couple of days for the credit from the wrong part. Then it's all intstalled and the door panel won't go back on. A slight difference in the motor hits an air duct that runs along the inside of the door panel. Oh well, nothing a dremel with a cutting wheel and a little duct tape can't fix. Not the best repair experience, but the window does now go up and down. It always has to be harder than it looks.

The product fit perfectly. The on line order was processed and ready to pick up locally w/in the hour. The box however, had been opened and someone tried to install the product. Maybe that's where the installation instructions went? I should have checked the box when I picked it up.

installed over 3 months ago working very well I did both driver side and passenger side, I installed driver side a year ago and still working, no problems at all.

This product was much easier to install than the orginal part was to take out. The o.e rubber coated nuts were a royal pain to remove. They just turned as you tried to back the bolts out.I had to wringe one of them off to get it out.However,the Dorman was a breeze to put back in.I had the Dorman bolted back on in less than five minutes;what a time saver. ALso it ran like a charm,very quiet and smooth. Great part Advance.
