Worth the extra money for a new one
Noticed a big difference in a new unit verses a rebuild unit. Motor was stronger and hopefully will last longer. Rebuild only lasted 2 years.

Put this in 2 years ago, expected it to last as long as the original. Fat chance, went to the store and the limited lifetime warranty is a joke. The limited part means once you walk out of the door, you have 90 days. My local store would'nt even look at the part to determine if it was defective or not. The other store was full of pimply faced kids who didn't even know what a window regulator did. For the guy who got one replaced after two years, please tell me which store so I can mail it to them. I can afford another, but its the principle of it. I happened to save the receipt and figured the place was legit. It is not, to quote Tommy Boy:
Tommy: The point is, how do you know the fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy; well, we're not buying it. He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes. The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser, and your daughter's knocked up. I seen it a hundred times.
Ted Nelson, Customer: But why do they put a guarantee on the box?
Tommy: Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of s. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for your customer's sake, for your daughter's sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from me.

Q:
how do you remove the door panel to install power window regulator1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
With reference to your inquiry on the Dorman - OE Solutions Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly - part# 741-644, for replacing the power window regulator and motor assembly on your Chevy Silverado, Place the flathead screwdriver between the lock button and the door panel, then twist the screwdriver to pop out the door lock trim. Repeat this process for the trim around the interior pull handle and the power window switch panel. Unplug the power window switch panel, using your hands. Unbolt the door panel from the door, using the 1/4-inch ratchet and socket set. The bolts are in the corner near the armrest, and behind the door lock. Then pull off the interior mirror trim piece with your hands. Push the door panel up towards the headliner, using your hands, and then pull the door panel off of the door. Plug the power window switch back into the harness on the door and roll down the window to the halfway point. There are two clamps on the window channels that hold the window in place. Unbolt them, using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket, then tilt the back of the window up towards the front of the vehicle and pull the glass out of the door towards the interior, using your hands. Unbolt the bolts that secure the window channels to the door, using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Then unbolt the window regulator motor from the door. Unplug the power window regulator motor harness from the door as well. Fold the channels together so that the channels, cables and window regulator motor can fit through the access panel, and pull out the assembly. Slide the replacement power window assembly into the door panel and bolt it in place, using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Reinstall the glass in the reverse order of removal, and tighten it down to the regulator, using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Plug the wiring harness back into the switch panel and test the window's up and down movement. If it binds in any way, adjust the window, or consider reinstalling the assembly, as the cables may be twisted. Reassemble the door panel in the reverse order of disassembly. CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, this Dorman - OE Solutions Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly (Part No. 741-644) fits for front left side in your 2002 GMC Yukon XL.Q:
Are install instructions included?2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, it does not include the installation instructions.A:
No. The regulator goes in exactly as the old one came out. Tape window in the up position. loosen two 10mm bolts on brackets that are on the rails that clamp to the window. remove wire and bolt to motor. remove top and bottom regulator rail bolts. the unit slides out after turning the rails sideways through the large hole on the bottom of door. installation is the same in reverse. it's quite easy although i was apprehensive at first. only tools required are 7mm socket(for the door panel), 10 mm socket, 6" extension and 1/4" ratchet.
