Except for the lack of installation instructions, I am greatly impressed with the quality and duplication of the original equipment's design. I went to youtube and viewed a video on installation.
This removal and installation went smooth and quick.
I would recommend this part to anyone that needs a replacement for the original.

The cable assembly in the OEM assembly failed. This failure caused the window to fail in down position. The Dorman Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly actually has a better design. What it does not have is a motor as strong as the original equipment. The motor drive is different, which means your existing motor can not be saved for a spare.
The assembly works fine as long as one does not retract the window fully into the door. When fully retracted the motor can barely raise the window half way without one having to help pull it up. It is better than nothing.

First one I installed lasted less than a week, second one seems to be a new design with a few suttle changes and better quality, working fine.I would still recommend this but as with anything electrical it buyer beware you might be doing things twice.

To get the best help on installing the window regulator on your car, I recommend stopping by your local Advance Auto Parts store and picking up a Haynes repair manual for your vehicle.
