Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
absolute junk, waste of time
same as previous user that had the belt climb over problem
my pulley actually walked forward off the shaft causing the belt to move off the pulley track and disintegrate .

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
Need to completely strip old pump, and reinstall all studs in new one.The pulley installation tool was a pain, and needed a second washer behind the one that came with pump,to keep washer from bending.

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
Do not forget to remove the two studs from your core. You will need a pulley puller/installer set to perform this installations. The nut, bolt and washer they supply with the pump to install the pulley did not work for me. Since my Advance did not have these tools available for loan I had to buy them. You should plan on replacing the serpentine belt and A/C belt while you are doing this job.

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
This pump is a piece of JUNK.
The pulley has to be pressed on & off. The shaft was .003 UNDERSIZE.
This is enough that the belt climbed up on the pulley because pulley was sliding off the shaft.
I found this out after the pump was installed & full of oil.
The company that re-manufactured it have NO Quality Control.

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
Being you have to use a pulley to remove and install the pulley on the power steering pump it took a little while to complete the job. As soon as I cranked the truck 96 K1500 it began leaking from the outside seal between the pump and reservior. I rented the puller the first time from advance which had stripped threads etc. I have now purchased a good set as it appears I will get to do the job again. Junk!
