Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
My old one was knocking and squealing. It took me 4 hours to install this new one which was $400 Cheaper than the Greenway Dealership to install. After installing i was amazed how quiet my jeep ran. I reccomend this to anyone that has A few wrench's and patience installing it. Must have is NEW Power steering fluid. Mine was old and black. But then again i have 165000 miles on the old pump. Great price.

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
I use this for my full hydro steering on my DD cherokee
I modify these for higher pressure and flow. With a big cooler they last about two years of hard use then they start to leak. But like i said i modify these.
Good lil pump for the price

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
Tried to install the pulley using the supplied "tool" (ie a bolt, nut and washer" stripped out the bolt and buggered up the threads on the shaft. Retuned it.

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
After having my OEM power steering pump fail On my 98' Jeep Cherokee I replaced it with this part. The pump is an exact replacement for the stock unit and has worked perfectly over the past several thousand miles since.
Make sure to pay close attention to how far the stock pulley is pressed on the pump shaft and duplicate the distance once the pulley is pressed on the new pump. Not doing so will result in a squeaking belt.
Make sure you borrow a power steering pump pully puller to swap the pulley over: pounding the pulley on the new pump will easily damage the pulley, the pump bearings, or both.

Comments about Fenco Power Steering Pump:
Bought this pump, had it professionally installed. After pump was on 4 days noticed big spot on driveway, checked fluid level and it was off the dip stick. Fluid appears to be coming from front of the pump. Now I will have to get mechanic to remove and replace this pump. We wasted a lot of time using this pump. Pump appears to be cheaply made. This mechanic uses Advance all the time for the parts he uses, I am sure from time to time you can get a bad part. The pump does not include a dip stick for measuring the fluid level, or there was not one in the box with the pump I was sold. Very disapointed in this pump. My daughter drives this vehicle and I would hate to see her stranded due to poor quality parts sdopld by Advance.
