This part Valvoline Power Steering Fluid (32 oz.), Part No. 602241 is a premium blended formula that helps maintain superior efficiency and performance of power steering units. Prevents leakage and squealing under severe conditions. Protects against pump breakdown caused by wear, oxidation and foaming. Effective in high and low temperatures. Performs in subzero temperatures to insure cold weather performance. Will not clog or foam. Helps prevent corrosion, wear and oxidation. Use year-round. Meets GM part number 1050017 (Spec. 9985010), Chrysler Spec. 5931, Ford Spec. and M2C128C & D. Use the fluid recommended in the owner's manual. Some power steering units are designed to use transmission fluid, while others are designed to use power steering fluid. Using the wrong fluid can cause performance deficiencies such as excessive foaming or improper lubrication. Never use power steering fluid in transmissions or as an engine oil. Not for use in Honda or Acura vehicles.Q:
