My sculling oars had some scratches that I was able to sand out....this primer filled in the rest....they look good as new! Also, the top coat took to the primer very well!

Used this product after the etching primer to cover all the deeper sanding scratches and imperfections on a 20yr old rusty truck. Made a smooth finish that was ready for a final paint job. Product was easy to use.

Q:
What type of sandpaper would I use after painting my vehicle?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Dupli-Color Paints can be wet sanded and buffed to a smooth glossy finish. After all paint steps are complete let paint dry for 24-48 hours depending on products used. Test an inconspicuous area to determine if paint has completely dried. Lightly wet sand any imperfections or orange peel with 1500-2000 grit sandpaper, being careful not to cut through the clear coat and into the color coat. Note: If clear coat is sanded through to the color coat, repeat color and clear coat applications. Once wet sanding is complete the surface will appear dull. Wash surface with clean water and let dry. Buff with a random orbital or high speed buffer using a wool buffing pad and fine grit buffing compound. Follow up with a foam pad with a finishing compound. Note: High speed buffers are more aggressive and can damage the paint if used incorrectly. Use at low speed. Apply a quality automotive wax after 1 week.Q:
