I installed these on my 2007 PT cruiser, and I couldn't be happier. My car is the non-turbo, but after installing these I get a great boost on acceleration. Any concerns about the heat increase being a stronger plug, don't worry. Installation was at the beginning of the Arizona summer, and driving around in 115 degrees of heat I didn't notice any changes to my cooling needs. Some reviews have issues with these plugs just being plain junk, but I disagree, if you have a performance vehicle then I recommend a professional racing plug, but for a OEM upgrade that you won't be disappointed with these are definitely worth the investment.

I'd previously used this type of +4 plugs successfully in my 1997 XJ6, so when my 2003 Chrysler van was at the 100k service interval I chose to installed these innovative plugs. However, after installation, the van ran very poorly. I called Bosch and they advised that while their plugs are factory tested for compatibility, as any vehicle ages, there's a chance that due to wear characteristics, non-oem plugs may cease to be fully compatible. They suggested that I return the plugs under their satisfaction policy. Upon reviewing on-line blogs, I also discovered a frequency of citations of incompatibility between the +4 plugs and the Chrysler vans. I chose to accept the manufacturer's advice and went through the trouble of removing the Bosch plugs and replacing them with Champion Double Platinum plugs. For my trouble I realized a net cost savings and have the van running well again. [...] As I implied above, I'd previously had a great experience with these +4 plugs, but after my most recent experience with my van I'd advise that before selecting the +4 you Google for any incompatibility postings for your vehicle. The bottom line is that while the +4 have been terrific in one car they were terrible in the other.

Istalled in my 2008 GMC Truck. Purchased truck brand new which now has 54,000 miles on it. GMC says change spark plugs @100,000 but I like to change mine @50,000. To keep my engine running smooth and continue getting great gas mileage.

Comments about Bosch Platinum+4 Spark Plug:
Got these because they were on sale and were cheaper than ac delco iridium. replacement was a breeze on my 07 HHR. gas mileage on 100k mile plugs was 26-27 mpg and after the change we are back to 30-32 mpg depending on driving conditions. i wouldnt say they improve power or mileage over stock plugs...but a definite improvement over the 100k mile plugs i replaced.

Depending on your vechicle will be easy to install or all day project if you have little room to work under the hood. Mfg. Engineers do not fix cars they make them more difficult to work on them by yourself!
