Q:
how many miles or long will this hold before replacing again..I had exhaust pipes put in and told i had a crack in my manifold so im going to take a shorter and cheaper cut which will last as long as my car will last..Either way If I have to get a manifold I will have to pay to have it put in so might as well be a new manifold istead of a junkyard one...why cant there be parts on a car or truck that never replacement..Geezz..Asked on 9/13/2012 by lilserenity from orlando florida1 answer

The average intake manifold should last the life of the car. Maybe 200K-300K miles. The lifetime of the intake manifold depends on the kind of service the car had. Rough terrain, drag racing, weather extremes, engine condition, temperature variations, accidents, etc. can all have an effect on the material. Keeping it clean and properly torqued to the head should see a full and reliable lifetime. This Edelbrock Performer Series; Intake Manifold (Part# 2101) is having 90 day replacement warranty if defective.
