Easy install, had it installed in less then 30 mins on my 70 camaro 350 after my holley failed. It started right up only adjustment i had to do was turn my idle screw up about 1/2 turn runs perfect. Also it costs way less than the holley, great buy

This is my 3rd Edelbrock 1407 carburetor and it was purchased to replace a 20 year old 1407 which I didn't want to rebuild and thought it was time. So far no leaks and it runs as it should. I like the easy tuning on it without dismantling the entire carburetor.

Good instructions,but had to get an adapter plate to mount on an Edelbrock manifold- did not know that till got carb, other than that well pleased.

Yes, this Edelbrock Performer Series Carb Part number 1407 should fit your vehicle. However, this product is universal and not a direct fit 1980 Ford F-350. Ford models with automatic transmissions require carb lever adapter part number 1481 or 1483. Ford models with cable activated throttle and auto kick down rod require throttle plate kit. If stock air cleaner is used, spacer part number 8092, and banjo fitting part number 8089 are required.Answered on 3/8/2012 by Steve from AAP
