Not quite as easy to install as the engine air filter. I've got a 2008 Honda CR-V and the filter didn't fit as flush with the housing as I would've liked. Took a little bit of work to get it to where I felt OK with it. Still, it was fairly easy to install for a complete non-mechanic like myself. The CR-V manual says NOTHING about installing the cabin filter or the engine filter (c'mon, Honda, really?), so I Googled and found a short video that explained the process.
As for the store experience itself, we ordered the filters online, visited the store an hour later, were in and out and on our way. If the product didn't feel a bit flimsy, I'd probably have given the experience a 4 or 5.

Comments about Purolator Panel Type Cabin Air Filter:
I've previously purchased this cabin air filter for my 08' Civic Si. I didn't expect much honestly, it's not a high performance part, just meant to keep the air you breath fresh and clean. So I honestly don't see why you need to spend big money on a cabin air filter. It's really just a matter of personal prefrence in my honest opinion. As far as the install goes, it's a piece of cake. Just search it in youtube, enough said. I had zero problems with fitment. I don't know what everyone else is talking about. Save yourself the money and replace your own filter. Took me less than 10 minutes. And if you look up AAP Coupons online you can get a really great deal. I spent less than $12.00 for mine after code. Picked it up in store, no problems!

Comments about Purolator Panel Type Cabin Air Filter:
As others have mentioned, had to trim a little bit off the edges to make it fit inside the tray. This was for a 2003 Accord. Because others didn't have the same problem with their Accords, I wonder if the filters sometimes come from the factory with excess material around the edges. This could be a quality control issue or because Purolator buys from different suppliers. No big deal, but annoying.

Comments about Purolator Panel Type Cabin Air Filter:
This filter has about 1/3 less pleats than the OEM meaning about 1/3 less area of filter membrane. The filter paper is much thinner than OEM and take care the ends stay in the filter end. The box says change every 12 months which is about right for this. I don't smoke but if I or a passenger did this thing wouldn't last too long.
Sadly its marked made in USA but I guess we take what work we cane.

Comments about Purolator Panel Type Cabin Air Filter:
fitment was alittle tight on 07 honda accord. you have to also work with it to ensure the filter dosen't get push in so as to allow air to bypass the actual filter element, hence you push in ansd down on the inside frame of the actual filter holder inside the car., but seems to work fine

I like purolator products. Decent fit and takes 2 minutes on my 2010 Honda CR-V. Dealer wants $90 to replace, how can they justify that. Crazy thing is owners manual will not tell you how to change it.
