I have a permanent K&N filter and bought this one to replace it while I took the time to clean the other one. It works so well, was so easy to install, and inexpensive I may just start using the Purolator air filters from now one. With my busy lifestyle, I can't count on myself to spend the time clean the permanent one ever so often so I'm going back to the disposable option. Low maintenance is key!
