This is it, folks. Pure One filters are simply the best filters for the money. I tell all of my clients and colleagues to use Pure Ones, simply because it has been proven through UOA's and Open filter examinations that these filters can go up to 10k and still come out looking great. They are half the price of the long distance filters (Distance Plus, Mobil 1, K&N) and perform JUST as effectively.
Also - at the moment they are the best filtration unit for oil on the market. 99.9% @ > 20 microns has not been beat by any company.
The only thing I can complain about is the grainy texture of the can, but that also serves a purpose in that it will not slip out of your hand like the gloss textured cans, which is especially helpful when you're on your back trying to fight gravity to screw in your oil filter.
The price is a no-brainer. Purolator Classics are good, but for a couple bucks more you can get a filter that will last twice as long and do a better job at it. If you are looking for a different filter or a first-time shopper, look no further. Pure One is the best that money will buy!

If you are going to purchase this for a Honda Prelude SH then I suggest to reconsider your options. Take the stock filter that came with the car and compare it with the Purolator ONE in store before you buy this. The Purolator is easily twice the size of the stock filter on the Prelude SH making it difficult to mount. This filter is listed for both the BASE and SH models. While it works fine on the BASE model, it will NOT work on the SH because on the SH the oil filter mount is located up higher on the block just under the intake manifold. On the BASE model the filter is located lower on the block where there is more room. There is literally no room on the SH with where the oil filter mounts up and clearly the design was not well thought out. The filter is so large there is not enough room to get a wrench on it or even your hands so it is impossible to tighten completely.

Great product especially for the money. Grip material is a nice touch, as the whole unit exterior is covered and make on/off an easy job. This helps a lot as I change oil after every track event. I did some research on this unit and its burst pressure (300psi) and silicone diaphram is in the same range psi range and material type as other units priced twice as much.

These are as good or better than 'special' filters $15-25.
These are TOP OF THE LINE filters. Synthetic media for the best cleaning and flow. High amount of material when cut open, more than some brand 3 time the money.
SUPER CHEAP FOR WHAT YOU ARE GETTING!
RUN THESE FILTERS WITH GOOD OIL, YOU CAR WILL LAST LONGER!
