Comments about Purolator PureONE PureOne Oil Filter:
The bright orange color was at first a turn-off, then I realized that it was soooo easy to see from under the car when my filter was. =) The texture also makes it a breeze to get a hold of it and turn it. I no longer need to use the oil filter wrench thing. Changing my oil has sped up so much. I now prefer this over all other filters, and I been using only the PureOne for the past year. =) It fits my Mazda Protege 2003 ES. It filters oil. What more can one ask for? I think it does filter pretty well, but especially since I've been driving cross country quite a bit, I'm not sure if that is what is causing my oil to also be dirty.

I like the high visibility and textured paint on this filter. Easy to find, easy to grip. You probably won't need a filter wrench.

Comments about Purolator PureONE PureOne Oil Filter:
These filters are highly regarded on BITOG. The "rough" finish allows me to remove and install this filter without special tools. They can be pricey, but it's safe to say they're on the same level as Mobil 1 and K&N filters.

The grippy case makes these simple to remove and put back on. Seem to be a quality part. I will not use any other filter and I do extended oil changes between 5-10k miles.

Comments about Purolator PureONE PureOne Oil Filter:
Got this for an 06 STI, from performance evals online, this was the closest you could get to the OEM filter. OEM is still the best at filtering for this car, however of all the aftermarket filters avail, Pureone was highest in performance. Looks good, goes on easy, keeps oil lookin better than the old fram did at 3000 miles.
