Comments about K&N Oil Filter:
I own a 2005 Dodge Magnum with the V6. The oil filter sets and and is flush with surrounding motor and motor components. So having the welded nut on the bottom of the filter is pretty much the only way to remove the filter. Most bottom oil filter wrenches do not work. And this K&N filter keeps oil clean.

Comments about K&N Oil Filter:
Excellent filter with great design and made in the USA. This filter is highly recommended especially if you are using synthetic oil and perform the annual oil and filter change.

Comments about K&N Oil Filter:
The filter had great reviews, however it is probably because of being K&N. I wanted the best within a practical price range. I have heard from one friend the nut broke off when he tried to remove his filter?

No special tool is required to install/remove. just a 1" wrench do the job. It is one of the best filters on the market. Tip: never use cheap filters.

K&N oil filter has many features over and above the requirements of most vehicles. It use thicker canister walls for extra strength and durability which reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris. The drilled hole on the nut provides for safety wire attachment. Our oil filters also use a resin impregnated cellulose filter media.
