Comments about K&N Oil Filter:
If you've ever changed the oil on your RX300, you probably have the scars, callus', and bruises to prove it! This oil filter has the nut on the end, which turns out to be ESSENTIAL for changing the RX300 oil filter. If you value your blood, and don't like bruises, and gashes in your knuckles and arms, spend the extra few bucks and buy this filter.

Comments about K&N Oil Filter:
For only a couple dollars more you can get one, if not the, best oil filters in the market... per several videos and websites I've read. It's very sturdy, heavy, and well built. Also, K&N (as an auto parts company) means business. You can't lose by buying this oil filter.

Comments about K&N Oil Filter:
I have seen the reviews and the K&N is the best. I like to change my own oil and this filter is easiest to remove with a 1 inch socket. With the highest quality filtration, oil stays clear longer. The case is heavy and the innards are well made. You only have to cut one in half to see the difference, if you want to waste one, that is. With the K&N you could theoretically go longer between oil changes, although I do not like to do this. The K&N is expensive, but for a few dollars more, you have the best oil filtration, and combined with synthetic oil will help your engine to perform better and last longer.

Q:
Does this K&N filter need to be replaced with every oil change, or will it last for several oil changes?2 answers

A:
It is recommended to be replaced at every oil change.A:
You could theoretically go for 7000 miles with this. It depends on your vehicle, and how much you can afford to take best care of it. If it is an old junker that you are going to get rid of soon, then OK. Best advice: Always change the filter with the oil change.
