Meets OEM requirments for performance. OEM requirments for oil filters have been well defined over the years and do not need additional claims. No need to spend more on ones who promise eternal life or "better protection" marketing claims

          Comments about ACDelco Oil Filter:

Use this on my 2004 and 2005 Silverado & Tahoe. Decent filter for the price. This is the filter that both my vehicles came with from the factory. I prefer K&N or AMSOil but they both are double the price. I haven't had an issue and have 175K miles on both vehicles using this filter.

AC Delco had used the E-Core plastic core design in the past, they seem to have gone back to the old style that works and is reliable.

If you have a gm truck with a 4.8 , 5.3 or 6.0 liter using Ac-Delco oil filters with Anti Drainback will help protect your engine. The knocks and noises sometimes heard on cold starts will be gone when you use the right filter (Ac Delco). I also recommend using Mobil 1 Full syn.
