Currently about to change the second one of these. The first one lasted all of one day and antifreeze ran out the weep hole bad lost a lot. The truck ran hot. Now the replacement they gave me has lasted almost 6 weeks and is leaking out the weep hole again. DO NOT Buy unless you like to tear all that stuff off the front of your engine and buy antifreeze and gasket sealer!!!!

Bought this to replace a failing water pump on my 2001 Dodge Ram. Once I removed the fan shroud and all the hoses, the hard part came into play. Even with the "Borrowed" fan cluch wrenches, I couldn't break the fan nut loose. Appearantly one of the wrenches is suppose to lock into one of the four bolts on the existing pump so you can loosen the fan nut..well, there are no bolts on the existing water pump so the borrowed tools proved to be useless. Had to take the old pump to advanced Auto where they were kind enough to break it loose. After that it was all down hill. exact fit, and appears to be working well. Two words of advice, the first is to do like "Dave from Belton, MO. had suggested, buy a new inlet tube. After everthing was back together, mine sprung a leak and I had to make a second trip to Advanced to buy a replacement tube. And second, be sure to buy gasket sealant. Truck is now running cool again and all seems to be well, good luck.

just got it so i don't know longevity but it works like it should. no more squeaky bearing and truck is not gettin hot anymore.

water pump was an exact fit, only problem i had was My Dodge had all 14 mm head bolts and 1 torx head bolt on the very top. Not the pumps fault. Been 2 weeks since i put it on and no problems yet.

This GMB New Water Pump with part# 120-3041 comes with limited life time replacement as warranty. This warranty is valid for 90 days from the date of purchase or any longer warranty period that may be printed on your original sales receipt. In addition, you must be the original purchaser of the part and still own the vehicle on which it was installed. This warranty cannot be transferred to anyone at any time. Replacement parts are warranted for 90 days from the date of exchange or the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is longer. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.TURNS OUT THE VILLAN IS THE CLUTCH FAN.WHEN IT STARTS TO GO IT PUT ALOT OF UNNEEDED STRAIN ON THE WATER PUMP PULLEY.IT CAUSED THE WATER PUMP TO GO BAD AT THE BEARING.BUT IT ISNT THE BEARING MAKING THE NOISE.IT SORT OF MAKES THE WATER PUMP PULLEY DRAG SLOWER THEN THE REST OF THE ENGINES COMPONENTS AND THAT IS WHERE THE SOUND IS COMING FROM.GOOD LUCK.Answered on 3/20/2011 by 1998MUDPUPPY from MILLVILLE,NJ
