I installed the pass side axle in a 2001 caravan ,pretty easy job. disconnect the strut at the bottom , and the tie rod end. pop the old axel at the tranny and pull it out , have a catch pan ready , as you will loose some tranny oil . slip the new axel in till it clicks in the tranny . reattach the strut and tie rod end . refill tranny oil. This axel is new , not remaned so there is no core charge.Dont forget to check the lower ball joint while everything is open , gerase all fittings.This job took about two hours .

It was very easy to use and I was very happy about how easily it slipped in and locked with the snap ring. The product seemed very durible and well made.

Has anyone else had this problem? Shaft with splines that slips through wheel bearing 3/16 too long resulting in offset of ABS sensor and nut that holds on wheel. That concerns me.

do not need to remove balljoint, unbolt shock tower two bolts...does not mess up alignment on this model.
