The old axle outside boot broke so replaced with new unit instead of replacing boot or getting a rebuilt. The difference in the car vibration is significant - and the old unit felt just fine...Read complete review
The old axle outside boot broke so replaced with new unit instead of replacing boot or getting a rebuilt. The difference in the car vibration is significant - and the old unit felt just fine. So, impressed with the build quality. Bit of a problem getting it into the transmission - the retaining spring was bent a bit too much. Used the old one and went in fine - after 15 minutes of 'trying'. The inner boot was of a softer material than the outer, which looked normal. My outside ones always break first so not too concerned.

Relatively Easy to replace and more cost effective than replacing just one boot at a time. Replaced in the driveway in about an hour and a half. with impact tools, jack stands. Make sure you follow safe practice as you do have to get under the car a little, and it is a greasy job, but not bad if you have decent mechanical skills and the right tools.
