Never Dull and Extreme used to be two really good polishing products, especially using the cotton wadding. One of EXTREME's downsides is that it would stain your skin purple if you did not use gloves, but EXTREME always outperformed Never Dull. When I was in the fire dept., a friend and I did a trial. We polished certain areas of the aluminum diamond plate (running boards, pump operator area, etc.) on everything from our front line equipment to other pieces that were not used so often, and EXTREME came out ahead. I then went to the Firehouse Expo in Baltimore, MD There was a vendor there selling a polishing product in a paste. It has a very, very, very fine rouge to it. He was cleaning things from tarnished brass nozzles to copper fire extinguisherss and it never left a swirl mark ,scratch, scuff, or anything. I bought a tube and used it on steam whistles and other things in my collection. Even after being exposed to the steam and condensate, the whistles still looked great. If they got handled a lot, they required re-cleaning as any piece would, and they cleaned back up easily and beautifully. You can also use it on glass and fiberglass as well as chrome, stainless, aluminum, etc. It is OUTSTANDING!!! It is called MIRAGE and it is made by Metal Polish Pros. Don't waste your time or money on anything else. I still like Amway's Chrome and Glass cleaner when it comes to cleaning glass (water spots, etc), but this stuff holds a close second.
