Bought it as part of a kit, otherwise would not puchase it. No way I know to measure if it is effective.

I got it becuase it has a rebate on it and I wasn't even sure what it was for. So apparently you can put it in with your engine oil before you change your oil, and put it in your gas tank, and just leave it in your engine. Use one. I put it in with my engine oil, ran it for 15 min, then changed my oil. What came out was the blackest stuff ever. It really did help clean it I think. Then, I also put it in with my gas. Afterwords, I was getting 40mpg in my 03 mazda protege who typically gets 30mpg. =) I think it really did help improve my gas mileage, but I'm not too sure. =) I was doing mostly highway miles for a roadtrip.

Seemed to improve a ruff Idle I had. Don't know if it will last as one can may not be enough maintenance for injectors. I do like it though.
