For the best help with your “Do it yourself” project, I recommend visiting your local Advance Auto Parts store and picking up the Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. These manuals you give step by step instructions on numerous services for the specific vehicle and the tools needed. While in the store, feel free to speak with a Advance Auto Parts representative there in the store for helpful hints and information as well.A:
A 4 wheel drive special nut for 1/2 or 3/4 ton trucks. A wheel hub puller. Snapring pliers and small screwdriver or picking tool to take out a wire ring. Average mechanic can do it. My small allen wrench bolts required drilling the heads of to remove the outer cap. The bolts had an inch of bolt that I used a little heat from a portable torch at the base and vise grips to get out. New bolts should come with the hubs.
