I used this to try to resolve chugging problem and Servie Engine Soon Light. After installation, car would start and imediately stall. This problem did not exist before installation of this part. I put the orignal part back in, and the car started and remained running. Went back and bought Cardone Select Mass Air flow Sensor from Advance, and it solved my orginal problem without creating any additional problems.

Comments about BWD Mass Air Flow Sensor:

Shopping for MAF sensors to replace a broken one I was discouraged that I was looking at spending nearly $400 on a replacement. I found this one and it seemed too good to be true. I battled with diagnosing the problem myself but since no error codes were thrown it proved to be difficult to track down. I finally took it to a shop that replaced it with a known good sensor and suddenly all my problems disappeared. In the end I spent the $400 for a new sensor and learned a tough lesson.

actron scanner shows this maf works but stumbling still occurs with this maf installed.Bought the higher cost cardone maf, problem fixedIf you buy the cheap product, keep your original maf, you will need it when you have to buy the cardone maf to fix your problem, and cardone requires a core. So it cost me [$] for the BWD maf and around 150$ for the cardone. Lesson learned, read the write ups before buying any part from advanced auto

Do not buy this product, I bought first one, installed and car would start but would die/stall. Returned to store under warranty they replaced and I installed 2nd one and car would not start unless I floored the accellerator. Next returned part and paid extra money for the CARDONE SELECT BRAND and car started immediately and has ran perfectly ever sense.
