Most brake cleaner is pretty much the same. The newest thing, which this has, is low VOC. That just means it will not smell as bad and/or make you sick if you have to use a good amount of it.
Great for cleaning brakes but also engine parts when you take them apart. Just be careful as most brake cleaner is flammable.

Used to clean off calipers and rotors before installing new Wagner Thermoquiet brake pads on a 2004 Lexus LS430. It's a very strong cleaner for any previous brake dust and buildup, but definitely use it in a ventilated area due to vapors.

Worked great for recent 4 wheel brake and rotor install on Ford Edge. Easily blasted away coatings on rotors and gunk on brake assemblies prior to install. Went pretty far. Used 1 can for 4 wheels despite purchasing 2.

Although this product was purchased for a complete brake job on a 95 Monte Carlo, it served an addintional duty as a cleaner for numerous engine parts during a re-build on a GM 3.1! It leaves no film residue which is nice when cleaning internal engine parts and dries very quickly. I would highly recommend purchasing this product to all my friends and co-workers.

Open our website and go to the light gray box at the bottom of the page with all the little links. You will find MSDS listed there. Click it. Enter "7060046" in for the scu number and click search.
