Quick easy on line order. Parts picked up in local store a few short minutes later. Staff helped install and replaced old worn out supports. Works fine- beats the old way of using a windshield scraper to hold the hood open! Much safer and very easy to replace- better than risk getting injured ! :0)

I held off purchasing this item way too long. When the hood fell down and hit me on the head when I was working on the vehicle a good decision was made.
These two lifts were what I needed and the price was right. The effect on one vehicle was good enough for me to replace similar items on my second vehicle. I had been using available sticks and other items to hold the hoods up on my two vehicles. A head injury or other injuries have been averted by the replacement of these lifts.
The biggest problem that I had was knowing what to search for at the website. I kept getting Body shocks gas filled and there seemed like there was no item for my situation. Finally chatted with an on-line person who started getting me some information about what to look under. The on-line chat didn't provide all of what I was looking for, but ultimately found the exact replacement item number. Easy to replace. Do both at the same time.
I'm now considering the hatch and rear window supports on both vehicles. One vehicle is 12 yrs old and the other is 5 years old.

no more holding the hood up with one hand and trying to fill wiper fluid with the other. no more prop sticks that always slip. Install in 10-15 seconds each. no tools required.
