With reference to the inquiry on Felpro Intake Manifold Bolt Set - part# ES 72224, GM shop manual calls for 132 in/lbs for the lower, and 89 in/lbs for the upper. In general most GM products will be the same, if you have the 2 piece intake system. It would be 12 ft/lbs for the lower then 10 ft/lbs for the upper. The reason this is such a light pressure is the fact you are threading into aluminium and the threads will pull out.The sequence to tighten the bolts is also very crucial to the build, start with the middle two bolts beginning with the left then right. The next four are the 2 to the back, left then right, then the 2 to the front left then right. Follow this pattern outward until finished back-left-right, then front-left-right. You should remove them in the exact reverse order front-right-left, then back-right-left and finish with the middle two. Just so you know front is toward the grill, back is toward the wind shield, left is passenger side, and right is driver.
