Bought (6) of these to replace the original plugs in my 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L Prerunner. Original Toyota plugs are (3) NKG and (3) Denso. Not sure why, but that's what it is. I'm not one to chase every finite detail about gaining 1 more mpg with certain plugs, so that info I don't have.
They are a perfect fit, were easy to install, and have been performing perfectly for 3 months so far.

Put in a set of these and WOW! like a vehicle youth plug, 4 runner I think runs better than it did when new, and MPG's have increased by 2.5 ( went from 16.5 to 19 MPG in the city I can only imagine the HWY

I'm hoping this is equivalent to the OEM, which said FOMOCO. However, the application was a Volvo and some message boards said Denso was a good brand for Volvos. We'll see. So far the car runs smoother. The change/upgrade was a bit ahead of the schedule, but cheap insurance for a possible cause of the miss. One plug was a bit black and the rest were all a nice tan. So I am optimistic

Great OEM replacement. Had a bit of difficulty replacing on my '07 Tacoma V6 due to placement of certain things in the engine bay. other than that I noticed an improvement on throttle response and +1-2 on my mpg after two full fuel ups.

What is the performance differnce in the long life iridium plugs and the standard iridium plugs made by Denso. There is only a 50 cents difference in price so why 2 models. Denso long life Iridium plugs maintain the 0.4mm Iridium centre electrode but also have a platinum 'chip' in the ground electrode to allow performance to be maintained for a much longer service life (Sustained spark performance upto 120,000 miles). These plug types are usually recommended for high power turbo charged engines where wear may otherwise be accelerated.
