So far this bearing is working fine. Actually it's not the bearing I'm worried about, it's the wheel speed sensor inside that always seems to go bad prematurely. I change these as often as I change my underwear. Once the sensor fails I loose my AWD and ABS. As I said I'm happy so far, but it's only been a couple of weeks since I replaced it. I'm just hoping it get's me through the winter.

I order two Moog products, neither one was stamped Moog. One was in a Moog box, other in a National box. The one in the Moog box had burn marks from improper heating in production. The other one had a bent stud. Called for replacement and was told I would have to buy two more and then return the first two. Instead I took to my local store & they got me actual stamped Moog parts with no defects!

Comments about Moog Hub Assembly:
As mentioned above, exact fit, well packaged and well prelubed. I wish I had not listened to the Advance saleman who convinced me to buy the other non-Moog brand last time. Less than two months out of warranty, and I am buying an entire new unit.

Comments about Moog Hub Assembly:
I ordered MOOG because of the quality. The last bargain hub I bought lasted for 4,000 miles and I had to replace it. Again.
It was an exact fit and installation was relatively simple. All issues encountered were not because of the hub, but the previous wear on the car I installed it on. (Rounded bolt heads, etc.)

Comments about Moog Hub Assembly:
Seems fine, but only time will tell. I replaced both bearings. One was a Timken 3-year warranty bearing with 50k miles, and other was an original bearing with 140k miles.
The Moog bearing had wheel studs that were about 1/4 inch shorter that the production ones. The threads stopped in the middle of my open ended lug nuts. The old wheel studs went all the way through - flush to the top of the lug nuts.
These did get rid of my ABS and traction control lights. So far I am satisifed with these.
My tips on this job:
1. Most of my bolts were corroded on pretty bad, so I had to use a 2 foot breaker bar to break everything loose.
2. I also had to use a rubber mallet to get my rotors free from the hubs.
3. Use a 2x4 on edge to the tip of the halfshaft to hammer it free from the bearing with out damaging the halfshaft threads.
4. Use a big sledge hammer to tap the wheel bearing out of the knuckle - if corroded in.
5. Use a steel detail wire brush to clean up the inside of the knuckle so the new bearing goes on easier, and grease or antiseize the surface after cleaning it.
6. I added anti-seize to the back face of the rotor, all of the bolts, wheel studs, the knuckle to bearing surfaces too.
7. Also you should grease the splines of the halfshaft where it goes into the bearing.
Those things make the next time a lot easier.

Q:
What is the torque spec part number Moog Hub Assembly 513121 97 buick park ave 3.8L1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
With reference to this Moog Hub Assembly - part# 513121, the following are the torque specifications of the wheel hub assembly for your Buick Park Avenue. Install the axle nut using a 1 5/16″ or 34 mm socket. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Do not over torque or under torque this nut. Also it is strongly recommended to never use an impact wrench to tighten this nut. Please tighten with a torque wrench to 118 ft. Lbs. Install the wheel using a 19 mm socket (Torque lug nuts with torque wrench to 100 Ft. Lbs.) and press hub dust cover into place. However, I would recommend you to refer your vehicle owner's manual for the exact torque specifications in order to avoid intermittence. For any further assistance, you may also visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
