Service your differential and it will keep giving you service. Gears need fresh lubricant, it wears out over time and use.

Comments about Valvoline High-Performance 80W-90 Gear Oil:
Product was easy to use. Was used on a Silverado pickup differential maintenance. If the bottle design was changed a little to allow for the last quarter amount to be added, it would help in the installation. But overall, it was a breeze.

It does what it's supposed to. And with the additive (NOT the Tim Leary stuff... Limited Slip Differential Additive) already in it, it saves you a few bucks.

Yes, this should work fine on your application.Q:
will this work in positive-trac system2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Depending on what vehicle you have, I recommend using the weight of gear oil that the manufacturer recommends.A:
Disregard the answer from Mike, the way to find out if it will work in a posi-trac system is to read the bottle and see if it has the additive for limited slip differentials, it is also a good idea to find out what kind of limited slip your vehicle has as some require their own type of special fluid or no special fluid whatsoever.
